What problems do we want to solve?
There should be more applications that match the company's requirements rather than a large number of irrelevant ones.
Presenting the unclear questions in the current application form in a more understandable way to users.
Who have we considered as our primary target audience?
People aged between 18-50.
Unemployed and job-seeking individuals in Azerbaijan.
Research process:
In the previous application form, only 8 questions were included, and some of the questions were not fully understood by users. Additionally, due to the large number of applicants and the low relevance to the requirements, it became very challenging for the company to employ suitable candidates. Approximately 1,500 candidates applied each semester.
Since the information from applicants was collected in the company's database, we decided to analyze this data together with data analysts. After analyzing the results, we identified which questions users had difficulties with based on the information they provided. After determining the users' problems, we discussed the requirements and suggestions with the company’s management. Then, based on the gathered information, we started preparing new questions and presented them to the users.
Testing process:
We decided to conduct A/B testing on the questions in the new application form based on the data from the applicants. Through A/B testing, we modified the questions and reviewed the results again, continuing this process until we were fully confident that the questions were clear and understandable to the users.
What did we achieve as a result?
Although the number of applications decreased, more candidates applied who matched the company's requirements, and the employment rate of candidates was higher compared to previous semesters.
The majority of users were able to complete the form with ease.
